Using the lavatories is pretty desperate.
It used to be that on overnight international flights you could stretch out across whole empty rows in coach and catch some sleep or whatever. Way back then the seats were large enough for two people to sleep together, real intimate like.
Now it is like being in a sardine can and often smells like that, too.
