To some? Try nearly all. How many skinny people have out of control credit card debt, bought a house they couldn't afford, drive a car they can't afford, went bankrupt, etc? Have you ever bought something on credit because you didn't have the money? Why do you lack the self control?

Ever get angry at someone on the road and give them the finger or shout at them? Why do you lack the self control?

Ever speed up through a yellow and go through a red light? Ever speed? Why do you lack the self control?

Ever cheat at an exam or assignment in school? Why do you lack the self control?

Everyone lacks self control in certain areas. For some its finances, for some its anger, for some its weight, for some its drugs/alcohol etc.. Lets hold EVERYONE responsible for their lack of self control.

wow fattie, calm down and breathe. you've got some pent up anger inside.
this is a thread about fatties not being able to control their eating habits.

it's not that...it's the whole "Oh, people are fat because they do not care to make time."

I mean, lets face it...Mila has to be skinny. If she isn't, she loses her job. That is great incentive to stay fit. That is why it's so "easy" for her. It's part of her job to do it. Mean while, the rest of the 9-5 stuck at your desk world does not have that incentive. Yeah, you want to stay healthy, but there are other "more important" things they want to do besides exercise. You gain weight? so what? You still keep your job.

Sure, and that's their choice. I'm not looking down on fat people like certain AT'ers do. If someone prefers eating to exercise and wants to live with the consequences, hey, more power to them. I just roll my eyes when I hear the victim mentality stuff about how its not their fault and they can't help it.

And I just changed it to something else. Deal with it. Or do you lack the self control?

Fatty doesn't want to talk about being fat. Go start another thread and talk about that shit. Or do you lack the self control to put in the effort it would take to start a new thread, just like you lack the self control to not be fat.

In addition to career pressures for her to stay thin, she has to make sure that she at no point looks LESS like a teenaged girl than her manboy lover Macaulay Culkin. It is a constant struggle.

Comparing self control regarding speeding to self control regarding eating is just laughable.

As for your posts implying you aren't doing anything wrong; what you're doing is thread crapping. Make your own thread about people lacking the self control to not speed.

Yes, we've been through that. I think I've struck a nerve with some people here.. get called out on your hypocrisy and people start getting all upset.

The funny thing here is that you're the one being hypocritical. You post a tirade about how people need to be held personally responsible for their actions, well, we're holding you responsible for posting a political tirade (don't feign innocence - anyone that's been to P&N can see straight through it) in a thread that had nothing to do with it. We're holding you responsible for your actions and you're kicking and screaming about it. Deal with it, sport.

Please point out the hypocrisy, I'm not seeing it.

The same people who scream personal responsibility for weight conveniently ignore it for areas of their lives that they have issues with. I'm not making excuses for anyone, even myself. I'm saying those who just spout off with 'they are fat by choice' usually are the type who will then turn around and blame the credit card companies for allowing them to charge up their credit cards.

I'm suggesting we apply this level of thinking to all areas of our lives and we'd be a lot better off. I wonder if Mila Kunis has been to any fundraisers where she asked people for to support those in Haiti for example? Why doesn't she just say they are poor because they must not want to work or better themselves or their country? My guess is she would blame society, the culture, or the rich.. whatever.. she would thus be a hypocrite.

Lol...wait you are comparing poverty in Haiti to fat people not being able to hold themselves back from eating three donuts instead of one...you have got to be kidding me.

Why would comparing it to speeding be laughable? When you speed you put other people's lives at risk for your own personal selfish reasons. By overeating you are putting your own life at risk for selfish reasons.

Again, I am pointing out that people like Mila (And others in this thread) are hypocrites. They can't scream personal responsibility on one issue and then turn around and point fingers at everyone else for other issues that effect people.

WTF are you talking about? This is a thread about how it is the opinion of some (including Mila) that people that are fat can lose weight if they try. If they want to lose weight and are unable to, it is probably because they are lazy and not trying hard enough. Why are people trying to make more out of it than it is.

Has nothing to do with moral and social situations you are talking about above. You want that discussion? Go to P & N or start a new thread or something.

You need to go start your own website and run your own forum. You can have the entire forum take place in one category and one thread. Apparently that would make sense to you.

I can bring it down to your level if you can't understand. Eating 3 donuts instead of 1 is a choice. Buying a new car every year when you can't afford it is also a choice. We tend to blame the fat person for eating 3 donuts and we blame the bank for allowing us to buy a car we can't afford.

I just thought it was interesting how there are so many people in this thread and people like Mila herself who scream personal responsibility on one issue but ignore it in others. I'm sorry me pointing that out gets you so upset.

Its seems like I hit a nerve with people because of the backlash and personal attacks I am receiving. People generally don't like being told they are hypocrites and usually anger is the response when it holds some grain of truth.
