When you have too much of just about anything it all goes out of perspective. People who make just enough to get by are always managing their money tightly, whereas those who win the lottery, think they have an unlimited supply and just blow it all away.

You can also apply this to time..people with nothing are more likely to procrastinate when it comes to schoolwork or whatever, whereas someone who is constantly busy will likely be more careeful with the schedule and plan things better..
