That's because the doctors allegedly (ya, I'm using that word) found a tumor in his colon a few days ago. They did a biopsy and have to wait a week to see if it's cancer or not.

Where it gets tricky is that he had a 22-ish year old nephew run in his home district as councilor to replace his brother who is currently in the seat -- the same seat Rob held for like a decade before his brother.

Just this afternoon, Rob bowed out for mayor, his brother is running in mayor in his place, AND Rob is running in his home district as just a councilor.

Oh, and Rob was down 10%+ in some of the latest polls.
