Calling all experts...
I have a situation with the following details:
-One IBM PIII (not sure of the model yet) Server running Windows NT 4.0 Server.
-Roles: Contains scripts for workstations to login to, handles Mdaemon (mail serving), does backups.
-We would like to upgrade to Windows 2000 Small Business Server.
-Workstations: A dozen or more Win98/NT/ME PII/PIII machines.
If this particular model of server is in the Win2K compatibilty list,
then I will definitly feel more confident in the process going smoothly.
A few questions:
-Is it as simple as popping in the CD and doing an "Upgrade"?
-If not, what will not be "Upgraded" or migrated during this upgrade process.
Any help would appreciated.
