I have a iPad 3 and a Galaxy note 2. I have a lot of apps now on droid and been thinking about getting a 7" pad to mess with. Mostly for playing Order and Chaos and things like that.

Amazon has them for $228, i don't see myself needing more then 16g's really.

Its been out for a bit still worth the price or anything different to look at?

Thanks, looking at ordering this afternoon.

You can buy the 32gig on ebay for the same price usually. The deal crops up now and then.

The refresh is coming out soon so I would hold off. To be honest if you have a note it really isn't much of an upgrade.

I agree not a huge upgrade but when sitting on the coach playing games and stuff i burn through my phone's battery then i run out the door to go do something and am like crap ha.

The 32gig is a decent device (imo 16 is too low), but I would recommend putting a better rom on it. Despite being a nexus device it was still pretty sluggish and slow out of the box, but the roms made it feel like the tablet it was supposed to be from the beginning.

Just buy some replacement batteries and an external battery charger if that's the case. It doesn't sound like you truly need another device in your life, especially when it's pretty much just an upgrade on screen size. If I had a Note2 I wouldn't have bought my Nexus 7. I currently use a Galaxy Nexus.

Not for $200+. I bought a 16GB Nexus 7 used off Craigslist for $140. Try there first.

Ya i was trying only a few in my area they are trying to get around $170, i would do $150ish for a decent used one with no scratchs.

Ended up picking up a Used one on Craigslist for $150, had box, a case and was literally like brand new. For that price could not pass it up. Love the size of it so far, i could see my iPad 3 getting a lot less time.

i got a 16GB on newegg for $155 (after $15 rebate) on sale last week. It supposedly was a refurb, but works as good as new as far as i can tell.

Where are you guys get this? Just a bit unimaginable for these prices.

I have a note 2... and had a nexus 7 for about 2 weeks... hardly used the nexus 7. I think I'm going to have to buy the extra batteries for my note 2... but damn!!!!!! I really want the HTC One now...

I would say it's still worth it, unless you're willing to wait for its successor later in the year. Only other things I'd consider are Note 8.0 and Xperia Z Tablet but those are probably more expensive.

Buying it from the Play store gives you a 1 year cross-ship warranty. It's up to you whether it's worthwhile.

Metro Detroit area, one i bought was used less then a week or so he claimed and he bought a iPad mini. Had the box, the plastic back on it and the cables and stuff. So for $150 was like new.

Love it for that price will sell it and upgrade to the new 7 when it comes out more then likely.

In the end its your choice, but if you have a 5.5 inches Android device and wish to have 7 inches tab then iPad mini is also a very nice option.

I have a iPad 3, i wanted a 7" droid pad. I can see switching to a Retina Mini iPad when they come out this year though, I like the size.
