So I sold an Extigy on Ebay in February. In May or June my paypal account was charged back for the amount of the Extigy. After a couple furious emails to the buyer and to paypal and phone calls to paypal, It turns out that he disputed the charge with his credit card company. Paypal said since it was a credit card dispute, they can't really do anything about it. I've been trying to get this guy to mail me the extigy back, and he keeps saying it will go out soon. If it isn't here soon, and i mean like a week, I am going to give his email address out and i want everybody to tell him to get me my extigy. sound cool?

Or you could ask Paypal to three way call you in with the Credit Card company (unless you know who it is already) and inform them that he has not returned the merchandise and is committing mail fraud if he does not return it within the next 14 days?

well, i figure after finally talking to him on the phone tonight, if i don't get it back within the week, i'm probably not going to get it back at all.

and we might care soon...

heh, j/k, but really, you can actually take the guy to small claims for this. dunno if its worth it to you or not. at the very least, you can cost him money in lawyer fees. :)

nah i've never talked to them, i was just making a suggestion. I'm not sure the laws on releasing someones personal information in a public forum. I was trying to give you alternatives to fighting someone doing something illegal without doing something illegal in return.

i could do the whole letter thing like on shawshank redemption (send him 2 letters a day for 2 years straight). it would be worth the stamp costs.

threaten you'll publish his address information on the internet, as many message boards as possible pointing out that he is a deadbeat and that any human is authorized to collect the amount on our behalf at his address...
