I figure it's probably gonna be the safest date to fly of the year. Everyone will be on guard.

*shouldn't* be, but admittedly, I still would be. Especially considering how al queda likes to do things on anniversaries...
Where are you flying out of?

What the hell kind of question is that? There's always possible terrorist activities when you're flying. Why don't you call the FAA and ask them if they know anything about September 11, 2004 and terrorist activity.

How about you email me when you get there to let me know you arrived ok. If not, I may worry a great deal. I just don't know what I would do if I didn't get that email or call. PLEASE, let me know how it goes.

BTW, if it's your time, you'll know about 3 seconds before it. Don't worry, that's a whole 1-2-3 seconds of preparation you will have.

That is in fact a saying, but unfortunately for you it doesn't really apply here. :p

My philosophy is that when its time to go, I cannot do anything about it. I don't have any control over when my time will come, and I don't think that time can be prevented. Why worry about what might happen? Live life to the fullest!

sure it does. if our security is that lax that we would let a terrorist attack to happen on 9/11 again, that would be REALLY sad.

As my dad puts it, 9/11 is probably the safest day of the year for flying now :p
