lol, i was late for an appointment because i was actually enjoying the game so much. it's not homm3, but it's a definite step up from homm4 and homm5.

you don't think it's too similar to homm5? yes there are some refinements and better performance but its still more or less same as 5.

Anyone else getting an issue where it is constantly sort of freezing, then giving you a message saying reloading resources? I got partway through the first map and as soon as I got underground, this started happening every couple of minutes...

there were just a few things i hated about homm5 at the time. maybe i just made the problems in 5 seem worse than they actually were or i just miss playing the series. i've only put in two hours, so i'll see how it goes after a few more hours.

The multiplayer was miserable in 5.. especially since any coop maps were not available till hammers of fate and even then they were so limited in number.

I did enjoy the single though for vanilla, but hammers was nothing great and that second expansion was awful.

I'll try the demo but like others, I'm so weary of bUbisoft now, they seem like the kings of the 1.01 patch and then it's off to the sequel and more of your $$$$

Using a bit of my old Hero's Necromancy skill here.

How is everyone finding the demo/beta? I'm tempted to pre-order it (can get it for near enough $30) but I'd like to hear a bit more about it before jumping in.
