Midwest meetup?

Jlee's thread got me thinking.

Would anyone be interested in doing a meetup this summer? In a perfect world, we could schedule it while Jlee is doing his move so he could join. I think IN/OH/IL would be the best bets since they are central.

Thoughts?

Not me. 😛
In theory I'll somehow magically get an internship, thus could end up anywhere. 😛
However in practice I suck at interviews, and in dozens of places applies to in the past while, got all of 2 of them. 🙁

But still no, since I don't need any stalkers. 😛

I'll be living near Lexington soon, so I'm game if it is within driving distance and doesn't interfere with my Late May trip to FL.

Windsor, ont... ATOT casino / strippers night...

Call it the "Blame Canada" meet...

Not too far from me - I'd be interested.

Chicago - probably not. It's a pain in the ass drive in a car without cruise control (and we will already be doing it a couple of times to fly out of O'hare. Damn DTW flights were $250 more each!

I might show up if it was in Chicago. That's about a 1.5 hour drive for me, and about the furthest I would commute.

Elwood: It's a hundred and six miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.

Jake: Hit it.

thanks...now I'm going to have to watch that tonight

PS: Anyone remember where their shotgun was made?

Those near Detroit or Ann Arbor thinking that Chicago is too far should look into taking the Megabus. If it works out, you could buy tickets for the same bus and play poker on the trip down or something.

Those people should also stab themselves for being giant pussies, because it's really not that far.
