This will likely be an obscure question for most. I've been playing the Midtown Madness trial version (that's the first game, not any of the sequels) since my Pentium 3 (and RivaTNT2) days.
But since I upgraded to my P4 with Radeon 9800pro, starting up of the demo takes ages. There's simply no response, though the WinXP task manager registered midtrial.exe in the task list. The time taken appears to be random, usually in the order of several minutes.
Any idea how to solves this would be appreciated lots. Thanks.
