MidTower vs FullTower; Power Supply Question

Ok, trying to decide on a Full Tower or Mid Tower.

For a full tower, do I need to get any sort of extensions for the power connectors, especially for the ones that will connect to the bottom of the case such as HDDs and fans?

And if so, do extensions even exist? This will be my first experience with a full tower.

There is no need for extension what so ever ...

The Aspire PSU I just got has some really long cables. They would work in any size case.
