I've never ordered here before so I was wondering how you guys got around the shipping charge. They say free shipping on orders over $100, but I know most of you just bought the speakers. Am I missing a coupon code or something here?

Well you KNEW it had to happen eventually. No more getting 5-packs of CD-R's shipped overnight free. I don't see how they were ever making any money on this in the first place.. oh wait, they probably weren't. Just wait a few years and online shipping will all be close to retail, fully taxed, and fully charged for shipping..and very very boring. I hope I'm not right.

I always felt kinda bad about ordering a 2 dollar cable or something cheap from Outpost because I knew they were losing money on it.

It's now February 1st, I thought Outpost only had free shipping for purchases over $100 only?

When did this go into effect?

These $15.95 speakers advertise FREE OVERNIGHT SHIPPING on the Outpost product description which conflicts with the $100 minimum?

These speakers suck. I've had these (or a similar model) and they don't sound that great. You really do get what you pay for.

WOW! i was so lucky! i ordered 3 things for 3 nights in a row and last night i also ordered a cheap soundcard with free overnight shipping! hehe great!.. too bad they've changed the free overnight thing. i was gonna use it(outpost) for cheaper things cause it comes fast for free. oh well..

2 things i dont like is how the volume is on back of subwoofer and the av in jack is not tight enough so sometimes when wires moves or something, the sound gets distrored. but was a good deal for its price.

Now i recommand you go get some decent 3 piece setup from local computer store. Those newer ones from Altec are around $40 and should sound better. just my 2 cents... GL

Overnight shipping on these is now $12.95. Deal gone, just like Outpost will be soon. I liked Outpost, especially the Hamster (Gerbil) commercial.

hey, its that thread crapping , resellerratings shill again.

Anyhow, these are worthwhile as they sound decent if your not, say mixing stuff in soundforge and just listens to reg. mp3's/ watch regular vcds/dvds. Hollow/cheap sub, but that is expected.

This should be a WARM deal now as overnight doesn't apply anymore.

Got mine today, no shipping charge, my guess is they have not updated thier system yet. I also got the 460 model not the 450. For 16.00 delivered it is a good deal, all these thread crappers who are saying spend more and get better speakers do not get the point. We know they are cheap speakers, but i have them now!!! no searching thru different stores, no driving around, and they sound fine...
only a audiophile would no the difference...

Luckily I ordered mines on 1/31/01 @ around 12:30am and received them like 10 hrs later. For the price, they are decent. Better then those cheap labtec speakers.
