I sat down ready to demo my new song today, but my midi controller seems to have stopped working.

The light is on meaning its getting power through the gameport still...

windows doesn't seem to be seeing the gameport at all though...and its connected to the freaking motherboard.

ive tried reinstalling drivers, and ive tried using the controller with man different vst's/nuendo, and im getting no response from the keyboard at all...

im using an M-Audio Audiophile 2496 soundcard, and a Creative Blasterkey MP3 midi controller...as well as an ASUS A7V333 motherboard with a gameport/usb bezel connected off the motherboard, occupying a pci slot.

I must be missing something here...cause it was working 2 days ago...

all cords appear to be in the right position...and i haven't changed nuendo's settings at all!

Check the BIOS to see if its fully enabled . Also check if the MIDI I/O addresses are enabled.

Hi, Haven't used MIDI for years, but you aren't getting much help so here goes: Do you mean it wont run your Midi instrument or it wont play from your comp's speakers? Make sure the Sequencer is set up to use the one you are using. What Sequencer? What adaptor are you using, standard sound card adaptor or add in Midi Card?

Good Luck, Jim
