Mine took 14 days and, apparently, the original shipping box was destroyed. My case came in an oversized box with few packing peanuts and was free to bounce around. The styrofoam around the edges of the case saved it from damage. That styrofoam took a beating though. The original address label was cut from the original shipping box, cardboard and all (like a removed UPC code), and taped to the outside of the oversized box.

I complained to Ebuyer about the poor packaging conditions and the slow shipping. Their response was that they are looking into other means of delivery.

I bought a case from ebuyer about a month ago for 20 dollars... got a tracking number 4 days after thier website was not accepting by address beginning with a letter as opposed to a number. About a month later... the case still has not left California.... they charge you when you call them and do not respond to email. They use some system with enotes or something which they do not reply to until you call them! I was fortunate I used my credit card so I was protected under the scamming provisions. Stay away from this company especially since the deal seams too good to be true.

Also, for reference ..... here is a site explaining the type of business ebuyer is... http://homepage.ntlworld.com/perfect.lady/wanted.html .

Good luck to those that did not use a protected credit card !

I've never had a case burn down anything lol I dont think metal is a firestarter, as for the PSU tons of people use generic PSU's without modfications i wouldn't think they'd start a fire, because something like that happening would kill a company with lawsuits. The people who buy the 400 dollar video cards would not be in on this deal, but people who need an extra case or something like that will probabily jump on this deal. This is the hot deals section not the critisize the product section.

yeah, i have a generic PSU with that clear plexi mod thing, and it still works fine for all my components. i have had no trouble with my generic PS. on the other hand my friend has had 2 enermax PSUs burn out in a cloud of smoke

I've been waiting on one of these for over 2 1/2 weeks now and after two emails to them I finally received a reply stating they are out of stock and it will be at least another week before they had any to ship. They charge you extra to ship them in a box orther then the box the case comes in So if you want the shipping box it's another $4.00

Still waiting :disgust:

You know... my friend lives in Chandler, Arizona... I printed out copies of all of my problems with ebuyer so that when he goes back in two weeks he will be able to pay them a visit... as well as go and talk to the officials in town about these scam artists...

If anyone would want to add more stuff into the fire please feel free to pm me...

I called ebuyer to check up on my case order, they confirmed it was shipped and gave me a USPS tracking number.. which is odd because of the "Free UPS Ground" offer.... I ran the tracking number through USPS website and I get...

Current Status
You entered 9102 7902 6737 1362 3711 87
Your item arrived at a shipping partner facility at 7:48 pm on August 14, 2003 in PHOENIX, AZ 85026. Status is updated every evening. Please check again later.

So it would appear that they sent it priority mail (I suppose it could be parcel post..)... If that's the cas ethen why has it not been delivered after 6 days....

Have any ofe you that bought from them in the past gotten the same?? Can you shed some light on this as to wether this is legit or they are bullsh1tt1ng me.....

I ordered this case to build a system dor an associate of my wife's she is getting anxious for it.. should I just order another case from elsewhere or get one locally instead of waiting for this one to show??

I ordered a case from them and called them up for a tracking number a week after. They gave me a USPS tracking number which shows the case was shipped the day I ordered. However, the USPS status never change and I still haven't seen the case after 6 or 7 weeks now. I have requested a refund and they had me to fill out a form and send it back to them. And about 10 days ago, I called them for the status of the refund process, they told me the credit should show on my credit in 5 days but I still haven't seen the credit yet. I was waiting for the case to put up the new system for weeks. I don't think I will order from them again.

Mine came USPS parcel post via a third party -- RR Donnelly. My post office said that RR Donnelly has a legit third party arrangement with them but he told me that they are usually slow. My "tracking" on the Ebuyer website never showed past the second stop -- Franklin Park (wherever that is).

Mine did come but, it was late (14 days) and the packaging was terrible. See my earlier post above.

I know its YMMV but i DID benefit from this post...now here is my experience.
I got the $20 case with psu, free s/h. It took about 10days to get the case...came from Utah to CA.
Shipped in original case box. Box arrived fine but when i opened it, it was screwed up. Face plates
were broken, front cover was torn off, screws flying all inside of box. I took some pics, emailed them for
RMA. I was kinda pissed coz i know i would have to pay for return s/h. However, they got back to me
within a day and said they saw my pics and said to keep the case for parts and that they will send me a
new one for free via Airborne. Strange thing is it still took about 9days to arrive
This time everything was cool...built my cheap system and gave it away. Case was all aluminum and light
though not sturdy(but then, most aluminum cases are not). Case was surprisingly roomy and easy to work with...
and i like the 'no-screws' necessary for the agp/pci cards approach. So overall this was a VERY good deal for me...
i got some extra parts(which i'll dump), an extra psu, and a decent case for $20. The rep that i worked with was
also very courteous. Btw, the psu fan makes a high whinny noise...which is quite loud. I wouldn't use it for myself
but as a giveaway, it can't be beat.

Here are the specs:

3.3V - 28A
5V - 30A
12V - 15A
-12V - .8A
-5V - .3A
+5VSB - 2A

Only annoyance with mine is that the 12V line is regulated at 12.7V.

BTW the PSU fan is very quiet in my example. Of course YMMV because I'm talkking about the $20 case I received before the start of this topic. Currently there are no $20 cases left, but there is a JNC 300W case for $25, and a Kingcase 300W for $23.

That sounds like exactly what mine is in the process of... my current status is that it was dispatched to RR Donnelly on 8/14 and the tracking number they gave me was from USPS.. so I guess it will show up eventually... BTW: looks like RR Donnely is a Distribution, Delivery & Fulfillment company.

Case Showed up today Undamamaged even.. It was shipped parcel post. That kind of peeves me.. they said UPS.. at least that is trackable....

Nice Case all in all.. I would be a happy camper if I didn't order this for a PC that I had to deliver yesterday... Friday I had to go get one locally for 3 times as much... I guess I will save this for the next one..

Great deal.. Just make sure you are not in a hurry...
