I should know the answer and I feel embarrassed for not knowing.
If I have two midgets that are positioned to hold each other together is the force the same as if I had one of those midgets against a similar sized piece of metal would the force (compression force) be the same as the two midgets.

What about the polarity of said midgets? Isn't that a thing? North vs South Pole...

Depends if they are vaccinated. Vaccinated midgets have reversed polarity.

What about in the case of one midget and one anti-midget?
In the case of anti-midget that doesn't observe the law of science, the force vector is changed from 180 degrees to 90 degrees. So, instead of being 6ft apart the anti-midget's position ends up 6ft below the midget.
