Mid tower cases

Sorry I know I'm being too picky, when will I learn? but here goes.
I have been looking forever for a good high Q. Mid tower case that's not too wide for ATX.
Take Lian-Li for example, I love them, but they are all too friggn wide, all of them!! I had the PC-A05B and I sent it back to Newegg because it looks dumb, it's too wide and too deep. Then they just came out this nice case, LIAN LI PC-7F, awesome features inside, but 8.4" come on!
I really like the Lian-Li PC-A06A (7.1 inches wide) perfect case, I know it's only got a 80mm fan intake but the target is for light or no gaming, BUT it looks like it's discontinued, arrg.
Please give me some ideas about a high quality, preferably aluminum, but not necessarily, that looks slick.

Maybe you can find an Antec Super LanBoy out there somewhere (been discontinued for a while) or maybe a p160 (bigger but still light). Remember that some of the gigantic HSFs these nutso gamers are using these days won't fit in too narrow a case (still may need to remove CPU ducts or side fans if the case comes with them - that's why most cases are 8" or so wide these days).

Directron usually carries quite a few aluminum cases, but when you choose the "all Aluminum cases" filter from the cases/fans page, you'll get cases w/ al. bezel on a steel chassis, all aluminum chassis with plastic bezel, and ones with both bezel and chassis being aluminum. Check the Lian Li LanCool PC-K1 or PC-K7 (these have aluminum skins on a steel internal frame. And Xoxide still has the Chenming that's the same as the original LanBoy but it does have 120mm cooling. Unf. only left in the diarrhetic calf yellow - super buy w/ free shipping. Bezel is plastic, rest is aluminum. Color problem solved with a couple cans of spray paint - one for plastic, one for metal.

If you can go with a microATX mobo, then other options open up like the NZXT Rogue...

What about something in the Silverstone Temjin series? TJ04? TJ08?

I'm in the same situation, though I opted for a CM690, I would still love to replace it with an aluminum case. Either way though, there are no mid-tower aluminum cases that tickles my fancy at the moment. I loved my old CoolerMaster WaveMaster.. but that thing can't handle a 8800GTX no less a GTX 280.

After many hours of research, I have decided to go with a mATX size MB and Silverstone TJ-08 (it's amazing to me how old this case is and AFAIK it's hard to beat) seems to be the best choice for me. I have 2 questions for you folks:

1. Is this case loud with say 2 120mm S. Flex fans, Antec true 380w and ZALMAN 9500A and one WD 640G?
2. Later if I wanted, can I fit 3 HDs in this box, it's unclear?
