1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.

Looks pretty good to me. I would recommend a better SSD though. You usually can get a 120 GB for just a few dollars more than the 60gb ones, but that may not be the same in India.

Can you let us know what your budget is in INR? Also, are you getting pricing on the components you have listed from Flipkart?

Budget is 70 thousand rupees and yes prices of the components are from flipkart. How will this build perform at 1080p in demanding games ? Will a 270x be enough? I upgrade every 4 years so this must also last atleast 4 years and still be able to play at 1080p decently.
If it helps my current rig is an i3-540 and 5770 from 2010 so i am expecting about double the performance atleast. My rig before that was Pentium D805+6800GS from 2006.

If you were able to fit the build you listed into Rs. 70k, then you did better than I could in terms of finding deals in India. My only recommendation would be to try to get an SSD larger than 60GB; that is really quite small.

A quad-core Haswell and an R9 270X is a big jump from your dual-core Lynnfield and 5770. Here's a comparison between the CPUs and GPUs.
