Mid price ($200-$300) phone search, what are my options?

what are my options in the phone under say $300 ? in terms of my priorities
- battery life, the longer the better
- stable OS/experience (stock Android preferred but I do not think they are making anything in my price range)


nice to have
- decent camera for occasional photos
- removable/expandable storage.

Coming off Nexus 4 that is starting to have issues

I'm not an expert, but it sounds to me like you want to take a look at the Moto G4 Plus.

The G4 hits most of those points, though "decent camera" is subject to interpretation. But it's probably good enough in that regard.

Is that LePro the exact version that anandtech reviewed i.e. fully compatible with TMO and ATT bands? Or, is it an international version with less compatibility?

Battery lasts 2 days for me, camera is mid range, but ok, screen isn't flagship quality, but is good.

No expandable storage, but using Google Photos makes it unnecessary for me.

Use a launcher to defeat the Le Eco skin, very simple mod, and you're good.

No headphone jack is a killer. I went with a white honor 8. Worse battery life but better camera. And biggest knock on it is the skin, too. I've fallen in love with the Microsoft arrow skin, anyway
