Mid or Full Tower Case

Anyone please help me to choose between this two cases:
1. Cooler Master 590 ---> Mid Tower Case
2. I-Cute Super A-18 ---> Full Tower Case
I need to know the pros and cons about both, and also which one has better airflow..

May be most of the people has known about CM 590
Here is the link about I-cute case:
http://www.sharkoon.com/html/s...l12_manual_english.pdf
Note: I don't know why it is called Sharkoon here, but it is actually the same as the i-cute I mentioned before.. I've tried to find it in google, but the article is in chinese which I don't really understand..

Thanks in advance..

If you don't need the flexibility the larger case offers, why pay the extra for it - the two really aren't all that different. Sharkoon is known here for some interesting fans which are not found at many resellers here and they probably self-import them. That case has plenty of fan mounts thus more sales of Sharkoon fans... To use those large fans effectively, the case needs plenty of venting where the air can escape, otherwise you won't get the potential performance from it and you also need to take that into consideration when shopping for your CPU cooler.

If it's a question of whether exhaust on the top of the case is better than exhaust on the back of the case, then no. If you have both, then sure, that's more exhaust. Higher airflow is *almost* always good.

Negatives of a top blowhole include things falling into it (sodas, scews), additional noise from a more line-of-sight location, and possibly a "distracted" airflow pattern. You can always test it, and if you don't like it, just block it off.

Oh, also, make sure there's a ball-bearing fan in the blowhole...sleeve bearing fans have a tendency to be louder and/or fail more quickly when mounted horizontally.

What you gon' do with all that space? All that space inside your case?

Sorry, morning humour...

What's the pricing like on the I-Cute/Sharkoon? The price point of the CM590 (and CM690) make them relatively cheap. I have the CM690 and find it's already a rather large case... I believe the CM590 is a touch smaller. Both the CM590/CM690 offer ample cooling performance IMO and I'm still using the stock fans in my CM690, tho the fans can be swapped out if you need more airflow (I haven't found the need yet).

Ok, thanks for the replies
The price of both cases are quite the same in my location...
The point here is that does a larger case with no top blowhole have better airflow than a medium size case with top hole?
Anyway I don't mind any noise from the case...

Personally, I'd block off the blowholes in the top of the 590/690 or any other case with a top hole as long as the normally located fans can do the job.

The reason I put a fan in the top-rear location of my CM690 is two-fold:

1) with the Accelero S1 installed on my 7900GS there was not enough clearance to keep the stock 120x25mm fan installed on the side panel (120x20mm would fit)
2) relocating the fan to the top-rear "blow hole" shaved a few more °C off the passively cooled GPU temps

That said, having a fan in the blow hole is not necessary in my case. With only stock fans in the front and rear locations the system still ran quite cool and the Accelero S1 still performed worlds better then the stock cooler. So, I don't consider a blow hole necessary. I think that decent cable management goes a long way in keeping airflow unobstructed and, should the need arise, there a number of higher CFM fans that will still keep things on the quiet side.

Granted, my system doesn't generate a lot of heat so my cooling needs are probably relatively low. What are you planning to put in this case?

That is actually exactly what I'll be doing to my top blowholes. I find them to be slightly annoying and project noise far more than I anticipated. I sit with the case beside my leg though....so that may or may not be a problem for some people.
