I got that card. It is an 8 pipeline card when multi texturing. (4x2) Did you get the one with VIVO? With my system im pulling down about 15,000 in 3dmark 01 and 5332in 03. Youll be happy with it.

yea 9800 pro is nice, but it was more expensive and didnt have the brand i wanted, in Taiwan couldnt find a Asus, Gigabyte, Sapphire, or a built by ATI one so i said forget it.

5900 is 4x2, not 8x1

its a 4 pipe card but i think when it does some kinda rendering not sure what it can do 8x0, (not textures just values for stuff) and even tho its only a 4 pipe, it can apply 2 textures in one pass, where as ati and their 8x1 can only apply 1 texture in one pass
