Microsuede Down Throw - $8.99

List price $30, on sale for $9.

And if anyone knows where I can find some good deals on down comforters or kitchen stuff (pots and pans mainly is what I'm looking for, but rice cookers and stuff like that as well) let me know. I'm moving into my new apartment and my old stuff is really nasty. 🙂

These seem very cool - I think I'll order 2 for my college dorm - blankets are always nice to have hung over the couch

Costco or Sams club for the deals on pots and pans. Pick up a set for ~80-150 that has most of the size pots that you need. Lifetime warentee and at Sam's club if you are /EVER/ dissatisified with your purchace or you think there is a better deal somewhere else, you can return it for a full refund. I think it's pretty similar at Costco.

I got the Wolfgang Puck set b/c it was on sale, but the Member's mark stuff is actually really good. I've never been dissatisified with any Member's Mark item.

sams club has that good of a guarantee? I thought it was jsut costco...

both the puck and sams choice type pans seem quite cheap to me... I'd rather buy a half decent set like Cuisinart or Calphalon (not that anodized crap) or wait for a decent deal and splurg on All-Clad.

Hopefully this is not the same down comforter my daughter got earlier this year--the feathers kept sticking through the material, poking your skin, then they finally wind up on the floor.

"feathers"? I am pretty sure this is down with no feathers, so no poking. But I do hate it when the down gets out and gets everywhere (one of the reason I never use my down comforter). From my experience, throws tend to leak down less than comforters because there's less of it. Plus the suede outer should be better than the plain cotton.

I saw on my local news that consumer reports did a test of a bunch of diff pot sets and the Costco/Sam's club did the best out of all of them; tests involving heating them empty, durability, non-stick stuff, etc

2 of 3 arrived today and they are nice. A little short bud good for just draping over your legs while you sit on the couch.
