Adrenaline 2020/05/27 (20.5.1) are out! Happy days! I installed them, checking "factory reset" and un-checking "Save user data" (to reset my Wattman settings), and I installed them, rebooted a couple of times, now I'm installing Win10 20-04 from Windows Update. Almost ready for the reboot phase.

Just hit my PCs as an optional update, so I usually wait around a week before installing to see if there are any issues reported by the early adopters.....like VirtualLarry. :p

Although I don't recall having any real issues with Windows 10 updates over the last couple of years though. The last major issue was in 2017 I believe, and the drive my OS was installed on was pegged constantly at 90%+ usage until I did whatever the workaround was.

Can people check, does this let your Ryzen CPU-based rig, run nearly 9-10C cooler under 100% load? Or maybe my ambient is just down a bit, but still, hmm.

Hasn't hit my machine yet but I'll check to see if my temps decrease. I typically don't run at 100%

Can't update this Lenovo M82 (i5-3470) yet. Attached image shows what WU shows me. Link below is where "Learn more" goes when you click it.
(Outstanding issues list with 20-04)

Anything exciting about this update?
Fast pairing Bluetooth, auto open apps and other tablet stuff just doesn’t excite me at all.
DX12 whatever could be nifty but I am wise enough to know it will be years before anything useful comes from it.

Update took a little while on some of my devices last week, but so far so good.

Is 32-bit support officially dead at this point, or was it just speculated/limited?

I don't know. I made a 32/64-bit combo USB installer stick using MS MCT, and then downloaded the x64, the x86, and the both ISO. So, looks like 32-bit is still available with 20-04?

Legacy users will still be supported by Microsoft, but I'd imagine the support from everything else out there will soon be like it was with Windows 8.1.

Downloading now. How the heck do they release this if their own laptops have issues???

2004 update is sitting there as optional on my main rig but my HTPC doesn't show it at all.

For the early adopters to be free beta testers/guinea pigs
The main body of this release was flighted in Dec 2019. Since then it has had very minor updates. It has been very reliable, running on my PC with no issues.

I installed in on my Dell laptop (the only PC I have that showed the update).

There's definitely some issues with it.

1. Even after the update was installed and the PC restarted, it now sometimes prompts me to create a new profile (like when you first install Windows).
2. When my screen turns off after 5 minutes of inactivity, moving my fingers on the laptop trackpad no longer wakes it (I have to hit a key).
3. Despite running a weekly system SSD optimization (TRIM), Windows always forgets it now, and the SSD status always says "Needs optimization".

These are more annoyance issues at this point, so I'll stick with it and hope the next update fixes these issues.

Hope there's some good stuff... but there's really only one thing I want them to do: make some customisable settings available for Task View.

For example, a setting or hotkey to show only active windows would be great. Similarly a hotkey to show only minimised windows. Right now I have 4-5 windows I'm working with, but I have 30+ minimised.
