Microsoft's Mouse without Borders

Yes but like a lot of things coming out of Redmond, it's Windows only. Check out Synergy which is cross platform IP-KVM freeware.

Yes but i thought i'd throw it out there for the windows users. According to some it works better than synergy for win.

Leave it to Microsoft to copy utilities that have been out for more than a decade and market it as if it's something new and cutting edge, 😀

They never claimed it to be new and cutting edge, they just think it's a better solution. And from the impressions from a couple of guys I work with (very intelligent network/IT engineers), it is.

When I worked at Microsoft, there was an internal tool like this that was much better than any input sharing software I've used before. I bet this is the same software, just cleaned up a bit.

The feature list is rather impressive as well: drag and drop file support, clipboard sharing for simple copy and pasting, the ability to lock and unlock all the connected PCs, and, of course, sharing a keyboard and mouse across multiple computers.

Right..there are many other freeware KVM type software downloads like this..

This is way better than Synergy.

Hats off to Microsoft!
