Hmm...I just hope Google doesn't become the 2nd Netscape.

I remember those days when Netscape was the king and IE was just nothing.

HAH! That's great. 😀

I honestly don't know why people are saying google is going out. Case in point: I was attempting to find an article on CNN in which Jack Valenti said that if you want a backup copy you should buy another copy of the DVD. (asshat) I used CNN's Yahoo-powered site search and searched for everything: "DVD Backup", "DVD Copy", "Backup Copy", "Valenti", "MPAA", "Backup Valenti", etc. Couldn't find the article.

I go to google, go to advanced search and limit the search to cnn.com, then search for "Backup Valenti DVD". First result is the one I'm looking for.

F%$#ing Mickey Mouse search systems.

i don't like microsoft, but the quality of hits are much better with this search engine. i did a search for the site that i work on and on google i get 4 pages of sites that mostly don't have anything to do with my search terms (sites full of meta tags that mention my sites terms that redirect to other sites that have nothing to do wtih the search) before it gets to what i'm looking for.

the quantity of links isn't as much as google, but the quality is much better.

I was looking for a specific item and used it to test both items, check the results:

Microsoft search Engine Results:

Results 1-5 containing "KW36L011"

Google search results:

Results 1 - 10 of about 18 for KW36L011.

worked fairly decent for the few obscure terms I used. Granted they haven't indexed as much as Google at this stage yet.

Good start MS.

I was just going to ask whether the site is getting hammered or if this thing just sucks 😛
