Think of it as renting an HD movie for 60 days. That's a HOT deal, IMO. ;)

So it just won't play after 60 days? That must be something your DVD player recognizes and just won't play the movie? That seems odd, do the region hacks and such for a player fix that?

This isn't a DVD movie, per se. It's a DVD-ROM disc that contains Windows Media (.WMV) files that fill up the space. That's why the BMW hire series is in high-definition.

I actually got this in the mail a month back or so. MS shipped it to me for no aparent reason. I wouldn't bother with it.

I got this one a few months ago when it first came out.

ALL the movies won't play after 2 months, regardless of whether you watched them or not. Sucks!

I believe when you first play one, WMP stores the media info somewhere on your computer/registry and records when you first played it. 60 days later, bam it will not let you play it. My guess is if you can find where this info is stored and remove it you should be able to play it again. I'm also betting that reformatting and reinstalling windows should let you play it again.

"This disk is also an easy way to update your system with the latest and greatest components of the Windows XP operating system, such as Windows Media Player 9 Series, Windows Movie Maker 2 for Windows XP, and Windows XP SP1a."

Saves you some time when reinstalling XP.
