Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical rebate question

I've got a quick question regarding the Microsoft Wheel mouse optical rebates at BB. I threw out my box (but got the UPC and all that good stuff), but forgot to get the address that you send the Microsoft MR to, does anyone have that address so I can send out the $10 rebate? I've already searched the BB site, Microsoft site, this forum, etc. and can't find the address anywhere. Your input would be much appreciated, thanks!

BTW: does anyone know how to take the mouse apart?

I was playing a game using the mouse last night and the LED shines between the buttons and causes a reflection on the screen! Honest! These are very bright LEDs. I want to put some electrical tape inside to stop the light from coming between the buttons.

One REALLY silly thing: I installed the MS software for the mouse. You can define each button assignment. EXCEPT the wheel button CANNOT be a middle mouse button! That selection is not available 🙁
 
Thx a million!! I just bought the mouse (I didn't get in on the Intellimouse optical deal - I was too late), but this mouse serves me fine (I've already got one Intellimouse optical anyways, I find the side buttons annoying for gaming).

There is a way you can get around that button programming, I'll PM you in a bit.

I don't think that $15 exists anymore for the wheel mouse after they dropped the price to $19.92 this week. Too bad CrapUSA didn't have some deal on this mouse so we could PM with it or something.
 
BOA:

Take an exacto or other type flat knife blade, and slip off the little rubber (4) "legs" (oval shape).
You use the blade so as to keep the thing from getting destroyed, and keep the sticky stuff on it, so you can stick it back on.
On one end is 2 screws. Remove those. The other end is snaps. Use a small flat blade to slip the snap to separate the body. Easy as pie after that.

I noticed these mice have the left button wear out quick. So I desoldered the middle button circuit board part, and swapped it with the left button part (all 3 buttons same part). Just make sure you mount them same direction.

It shouldn't have wore out that quick. Stinking HP mouse went 2 years and still is same as it was, this one lasted 6 months.
