I've just read the CompUSA online rebate. It says to send in:
completed coupon along with the boxtop (non-UPC symbol portion) from the
eligible product along with a photocopy of your CompUSA receipt to the following
address:
So, we can still use the UPC for the Microsoft rebate, right?
Well... I have the rebates here in my hand (and the mouse too, which is nice

)
Rebate from CompUSA Claims:
1 Purchase Microsoft WheelMouse Optical (SKU 292633) aat CompUSA between August 10,2002 and August 17,2002
2 Mail this completed cupon along with the boxtop (non-UPC symbol portion) from the eligible product along with a photocopy of your CompUSA receipt to the following address:
WheelMouse Optical Rebate, PO box 710449, Dallas, TX 75371-0449
Rebate that I have from Microsoft which I got off:
rebate
This one Claims:
1. Get the Mouse
2. Enclose proof of purchase from the wheel Mouse Optical you just acquired. Eligible forms of proof of purchase include product box top, with the product name and barcode clearly identified from the product.
3. Copy of receipt
So does this mean you send the upc part to microsoft and the rest of the box top to CompUSA? but the microsoft part still asks for the box top with product name clearly Identified?
I'm calling to clarify these questions tomorrow, At any rate $5 for this mouse is still good.
Thanks Xpeng
