MICROSOFT VS. LOGITECH ProDUCTS

WHICH IS BETTER?? I PICK LOGITECH. My whole room is surronded my logitech, A logitech keyboard, mouse, joystick, and speakers.

I have a MS USB wireless NIC which gets the job done (weirdly) but my mouse is a Logitech dual optical. Logitech's drivers suck, but I like the feel and responsiveness of it over an Intellimouse Explorer.

EDIT: I don't see the point of your thread other than trying to start a flame war. You seem like you've already made up your mind as to which is better.

logitech.

i have the cordless freedom optical which i find better than any microsoft keyboard/mouse combo. i'm going to get the cordless MX combo soon.

but i dont like all logitech products. mostly just peripherals. when it came to speakers, i chose the klipsch 5.1 promedia over the logitech 5.1 z680s.

Microsoft.

Good Drivers (they work with ALL MS products even, go figure)
Good Compatibility (MS Sidewinders work with EVERY game I've seen)
Good Warranty
Abuse resistant designs / High quality

I think logitech makes great product which is good since it keeps the competition on their toes. I just think MS is better. I've had some grief with logitechs in the past but not much. Never a problem with MS.

Oh, and one more thing:
Artic, with just 17 posts to your name it's a little early to be getting yourself branded as a blatant troll don't you think?

Some of you folks are overly sensitive IMO, not to mention the liberties taken on the word troll. I see the author of the thread has a bias towards Logitech but so what, we all do in one way or another.

I like Logitech, but I have more MS products, namely 3 mice and 1 Logitech. Logitech gets the thumbs up for ergonomics. To me it feels like MS designs their products with big poeple with big hands in minds.

I like both. Logitech I think makes better keyboards, but I have alwasy thougth microsoft mice are faaar supperior. I'm currently using the logitech optical combo from over a year ago and maybe i'll sell it and pick up the mx combo in a few months. As far as keyboard + mouse wireless combos go I think logitech wins.

I like both, so I just buy whichever unit feels/sounds/performs better, or if they're comperable then I go with the cheaper one. I tend to prefer Logitech for mice, and Microsoft keyboards tend to either be cheaper or have rebates around here, so I go with them for keyboards.

The only Microsoft hardware I own is an optical mouse I use because I've never had any problems with it and it was cheap.

its all a personal preference:

coke or pepsi?
paper or plastic?
AMD or intel?
windows or linux?
import cars or domestic?
cash or plastic?

even though i personally prefer logitech's mouse, but both MS and logitech keyboards seem to be even

I like them both, I have 3 MS joysticks and one stearing wheel, and one Logitech wirless joystick that works great. I only buy what feels best in my hands i dont buy by manufacture.

I recently migrated from a MS Ergo Keyboard and Explorer Mouse to a Logitech Elite Keyboard and MX500 mouse. The ergonomics on the MS keyboard were nicer, but the feel and response, while typing, felt better on the Logitech. The Logitech mouse felt more solid and more comfortable than the MS mouse. Although I haven't had any problems with the Logitech drivers, I believe Microsoft has the more stable drivers between the two.

They're both fine. Sometimes I think Logitech might be better quality, but theres less issues when using MS products with a MS OS. But any differences are slight.

sry i forgot about this thread but logi mice are more comfortable and the keyboards are better i think, i got the mx duo and it sgreat....i only got the speakers cuz they were cheap 70 dallors, also the cordless gamepad which was the first cordless gamepad so i decided to get it, however i regret it cuz its heavy and isn't compatible with a lot of the games.

Logitech for the mice here and MS for the joystick...

Umm...Whatever yanks your crank. Can't really say that one is drastically better than the other...Comes down to personal choice/cost.

Microsoft...

Logitech breaks so easily...

i had two blue internet scroll mice die on me... POS...
the first one.. the cable got loose or something.. and it kept losing connection with my comp..

second one that recently died again... the right mouse button spontaneously died while i was playing a game....

Damn..You talking about the blue optical mouse? I've had mine for like ever and have never had any trouble with it. Love it for gaming.

I tend to go with whichever is cheaper....

But I have Logitech KB, mouse, and joystick and nothing Microsoft, so that must say something.

I've been using Microsoft for a few years, but now I'm using a Logitech Cordless MX700 and I love it. I'd have to say Microsoft had better drivers, but you really can't go wrong either way.

i love my logitech keyboard and speakers, but you can only pry my microsoft intellimouse w/intellieye (the 1st generation) from my cold, lifeless hands.
