Hes got more than just an Xbox, MSDN, and MS certification training.

He and his family get a trip to MS' Technology Fair in Redmond, Washington
Microsoft is also paying for his expenses in regards to changing over everything(buisness cards, website etc).

Id say its valued at over $5,000.

It is easy to say when we are an outsider, because taking on MS is a very large task for anyone. Even if Mike Rowe win the suit, he would still have lost at least 3 years of his life worrying & fighting MS hounds.

I?m not too sure what is the cost for a lawyer at the moment, but the average lawyer here in Victoria in the late 90s don?t do commissions & most of them are shark that takes 50% of your wining & $400 per hour for their & assistant time.

My kingdom for an X-Box!

I would have done the same thing. Not worth the cost of fighting it out on principle alone. I'd find myself bitter and penniless, hey but at least I'd have that snazzy domain name I registered for $8!
