Just to chime in with Vista on AD, it does suck.

Can't get group policy to apply unless http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=934430

Can't get network drives to map at logon unless http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937624

Thanks for the support. Vista Enterprise sucks on Active Directory.

Anytime man! Screw Vista in our environment at this time, even after we've installed SP1 still issue after issue. Just a few other problems we have seen:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948030/en-us

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/920727/en-us

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/942220/en-us

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947229/en-us

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/939882/en-us

I've been test-driving it in a virtual environment and it's nothing but headaches to administer some of the GP stuff...

It's why we haven't done a rollout of it, among other reasons.

we have all our desktops on vista and have no issues. Safeway. try using folder redirection and it will automatically point the documents folder to that mapped drive. i ahve found vista to be awesome. I hate going back to a computer with XP on it because i feel like i am stepping back in time to a crappy OS. so many little tings about vista just make my day easier.
