Microsoft to charge for DX9

If it actually happens I'll move to linux once DX8.x becomes worthless. Not that losing me as a M$ customer would be any great loss to them hehe
 
lol. had AF all over it. its just like IE. if they started charging for IE instead of making you pay for it in the OS, they would lose a ton of money. If they charged for DX we would see OpenGL make some real progress in no time. Netscape only vanished when IE5.0 with win98 beat em down. Before 5.0 they were very competitive. and before IE it was even profitable.

Hi. this is a spatious house. and it comes with this lawnmower. (unbeknownst to you we will pass the cost of this lawnmower on to you and you have no choice other than to live in another state). If that analogy isnt clear and acurate Im must be dumber than I thought.
 
Definately an april fools joke. Anyway, it doesn't matter to me since I switched to Linux months ago and haven't looked back since. 🙂
