any updates on codes? i just filed my income tax and plan on getting a sub when uncle sam gives me my money 😀

As of today, I tried using the two codes posted by the OP today on my extension and it showed the same price of $249.99

So I can't vouch if they will work on new accounts, but no-go for now for the extensions with the currently supplied codes.

The 28% code still worked (up to placing in the cart at least) but the 25% is dead - both tried on new subscriptions.

So what is the catch here? I can pay the subscription fee and then legally access to the full retail versions of MS software? And the keys are still good after subscription expires?

The "catch" is, that according to the actual terms of the service, you are only supposed to use the software to "evaluate" it. It isn't supposed to be put on a machine and simply used forever... though that is exactly what pretty much everyone (including me) has done for years now.

Question for those of you with TechNet subscriptions. Can you still activate the products after your subscription period has ended? Say I buy a sub now and a year from now I need to reinstall with all new hardware and thus have to reactivate it. Would you run into any problems doing so?

I remember that one day when it was completely free by accident and MS called us all piraters...good times.

Once again $251.99 for a new account with fresh new keys or $249.99 to renew your account with no new keys.

It's like they want people to just make a new account or something 😛 Still don't get why there are never any renew offers.

Yeah, I know I can renew my account any time for $250 and they seem to almost always have new accounts for $250, so I have almost no incentive to buy a new account. I'm waiting for them to offer something better than this.
