Microsoft Sync

If it's anything near as good as voice command, it should work quite well. Voice command is eerily accurate with zero training. I have a feeling it is based off the same codebase as VC.

I loled! Now my keyboard has milk on it 🙁

A few of my friends have focus' with it. It works really well, surprisingly well. There are very few things that impress me that ford has done, technology wise. This impressed me.

Definitely based off of voice command.

Problem is, apparently it's only available on Ford vehicles.

Once they move it to real vehicles instead of POS heaps, then it will be worth talking about.

Have you ever driven a Ford or are you basing your opinion off of something else?

Why the hell would I drive a Ford?

My dad had one. It was a POS.

i agree with him.

i have driven pretty much every SUV and truck model ford has come out with in the last 10 yrs at work, short of the big delivery trucks. they all suck. they seem to last for a looong time tho, thats why we keep buying them. funny part is, only management drives fords now. the real work force here drive chevy 1ton with service bodies. i drive a dodge truck, and its been more reliable and comfy than any of the fords or chevys ive driven.

Funny, I've owned 2 Used Fords over the past 12 years. The first when I bought it was over 120k and it lasted another 80k without major work, just typical maintenance. When I ticked 200k, the tranny started feeling bad so I gave up and bought a newer one. My current Ford I've put 80k more into, and have had similar results in terms of reliability (at 103k now).

Pretty much.

No way in hell I'll buy a Ford POS.

Ford sucks, Sync sucks. Quit giving people more reasons to not pay attention to the road.
The point of Sync is people are going to do this sort of stuff (read texts, talk on the phone, fiddle with mp3 players) regardless of laws against it or whatever. It at least makes it a little safer and more convenient by voice-activating it.

Not all Ford's suck. My Crown Victoria happens to run great.
My dad has 2 Crown Vics. I agree that they are reliable cars. They're just not very exciting. Great basic transportation (as most Fords are), just too boring for my tastes. I do kind of like the Mercury Milan and the SporTrac (which is way overpriced IMO) out of the Sync cars.
