programmable and has games included. The local store in my
area ( Phila. PA ) only had two available when the store
opened Sun. morning ( I was the eleventh in line ). Then
the online site sold out by Mon. evening but I was notified
that they are back in stock as of 12/5 4:00 PM east. The CSR
told me the rebate for $15 is not yet posted but should
be on their site by 12/6.

Not sure if this is old news, but they DO let you buy it online/on phone and pick it up at B&M, so you can call and make sure they have it in stock at a local store before going down. I just did that, walked right in the store (westwood store had 2 left at lunchtime), picked up my joystick, walked right out, no hassles.
BTW, circuit city rebate requires purchase on or before 12/9, Microsoft rebate goes until around new years
