Microsoft Sidewinder Controller ( Gameport version)

I have the old Microsoft controllers. I experience lagg when I paly with 2 people what is the problem? I daisy chain them. But I was also wonder is it better to use USb version of them? Thank you.😉
 
I've never experienced such lag, as I do the same. But I would have to guess that USB versions would be better for multiplayer setups. I'm not certain on the sampling rate of a game port, but I'd bet it's lower than that of a USB port.
 
Yep I think it is lower (game port) now a days they make USB controllers. I may buy the usb version as this a good controller
 
it's not the gameports that provide lag for the most part. pc games are not really good for multiplayer games on one system.
