why isnt this included as part of ms office xp professional with frontpage??

is there a standalone version?
 
Yes, there is a standalone version. Why it is not included, I don't know. MS can't seem to make up it's mind; with Office 2000 Pro they sometimes bundled it, with Office XP OEM they occasionally do. When Office XP came out, they had a "Platinum Upgrade" for users of 2000 Premium that included FrontPage, Publisher, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, all the major programs. Why they never released a full blown "Platinum Edition" is beyond me!!!
