microsoft process kill utility error

this has been happening a couple days now.. I keep getting this error popup saying microsoft process kill utility has stopped working. But i close it and another pops up a few seconds later and eventually it gets out of control boggin my computer down to slow speeds.

does anyone know how to stop this or what more information i need to provide to help someone out to fix the problem/.

Try a System Restore to before this occurred. Any good?

tried it and now im getting the exact same problem with : Windows host process (rundll32) has stopped working

Hmmm, gut reaction: malware? Done a virus & spyware scan recently? If not, hit F-secure.com and try their online scanner, which is pretty good.

yeah i got rid of it with a second system restore set way abck.. lost a bunch of programs though, fortunately it didnt get rid of my bioshock saved games.

im gonna format this whole damned thing soon anyway, im sick of 32bit vista, and im sick of this mobo not lettin me use my full ram

Try the Repair Install first - unless you don't mind the full re-installation of ALL of your software...
