I have a really fast computer...3.0p4 800fsb 1gbram 256mbradeon etc... but outlook seems laggy....it takes a little bit to load then once the window comes up it takes a few seconds to get going (before I can click on anything) and then even once its going to get from message to message takes a few seconds..... I have other slow computers that run it faster than this one anyone able to save my sanity by fixing this nuance?
 
How large is your PST file? Outlook can get pretty lethargic if your Inbox gets massive. Also, if this is Office XP, make sure you disable Messenger loading on startup.
 
Yes, I second MrChad about disabling Messenger in Outlook, that is, if you're running Office XP (which I assume you are). Also, you may want to turn off preview pane, to see if that helps you get through things a bit quicker.
