Microsoft Outlook Error

I have just redid the whole PC, added windows XP and now when I try to start Microsoft Outlook (part of office 2000) I get an error message. The error message is:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program :\ Progra~1\micros~3\office\outlook.exe

This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact support for more info.


Here is whats weird if I try to start it 2 or 3 times it will run and be fine.
Anyone know whats up with this?
