Just came back from Best Buy using my 10% off coupon (nothing to buy). Bought a Microsoft Optical Wheel Mouse (the one without addtional forward/backward buttons) for $19.99 and $10 rebate. Makes it $9.99. I had good luck with Microsoft Rebates.

Speaking of which, I never got Viking 128 MB flash memory $25 rebates from Amazon. Those bastards. It's been 3 month now.

 
Right, it was one of the best deals on mice.
Speaking of optical mice. I prefer the one without the back/forward buttons. How about u guys?
 
i can't live with them, literally... in counterstrike sometimes when you hit them it takes you out of the game to the desktop and then I come back dead🙂 Now I either bind them to keys on the keyboard like control then bind control in the game or else I just set it to none in the software.. and microsoft is very good when it comes to rebates btw

There's a guy over at F@t wallet that can help you with your viking rebate, actually, he's a representative for viking and he can get your rebate taken care of. Turn on your pm so I can send you the link to the FW thread.
 
I was thinking what else to buy in addition to the $40 256mb DDR ($25 after ebate) which would only give me $4 for the 10% coupon when a guy buying a big TV saw my coupon and offered me $20 cash for it 🙂 He got $40 off his $400 TV. Sweet.
 

waiting for viking rebates huh? better watch the news.. if SanDisk vs. Viking lawsuit result in viking losing, Viking probably will file Ch 11!

do you have the latest drivers? you can have independent settings for the mouse in-game, or disable it so you don't do some random windozz function. I personally set the HUD to fastswitch and bind the pistol and primary, quick-switching after you're out of ammo is the best! great deal, too bad it isn't the intellimouse optical though! (it's better than the explorer IMHO)

MS is great with rebates, got mine in 3 weeks (Intellimouse $11 after MIR from Fry's a few months ago)
