Well, OneCare 2.0 Beta is out there:

Version 2 will have new features. They are Wi-fi security and home network status. Version 2 will make startup faster. Verison 2 of OneCare is compatible with Windows XP (32 bit only) and Windows Vista (32 bit and 64 bit)
Looks like Microsoft is not bothering to add XP64 support, shame that xp64 gets shunned so much. It is a good operating system, but it lacks driver / other software support from many vendors.

Hopefully they will work on improving the detection rate as well, it does poorly in the tests.

I've been using it since it's original beta and am a beta tester of the new 2.0 version as well. I can honestly say that they can improve in many areas.

First of all, the scanning takes a lot longer than many others out there (I'm talking both a full scan and a regular scan through the right-click context menu).

Another thing is I do not like having to open up th entire program just to change a few options. I would prefer if you could pick and choose options through the system tray icon.

Right now you can right-click on it but it only has open OneCare and the help feature. This needs to be improved on.

I personally don't use the backup feature. It's good enough for my needs and for most people I would say it's great. It is actually not bad on resource usage, it's much better than Norton or McAfee that's for sure.

Last but not least, is the find rate. It is piss poor and needs to be improved. I don't know why they don't do something about this (I mean I'm sure they are but it doesn't appear to be).
