Microsoft OFFICE Home & Student 2007, $60 free shipping

Argh, tempted. Definitely need a copy but it's hard to spend money after I just dropped a load of money on textbooks.

God it doesn't come with Outlook 🙁

If you need Outlook or Access, you can get Microsoft's "Ultimate Steal" for $60. You won't get 3 licenses, though.

Don't forget to take a few bucks more off using bing cash back.

I'm still on Office 2000... wonder if I should upgrade or not.

Unless you have a particular reason to, I wouldn't. I *hate* the Ribbon, personally.

Upgrade. For this amount of money? Why not.

This is a GREAT deal.

Got $4.20 back with BING.

Total is $55.79

Thats $18.60 an install. WOOT

What does Thunderbird have to do with this Deal?

It's an Email system based on Mozilla Code.

Unfortunately when you go to college or an online school and they require Powerpoint, Excel and Word.

Freebies just don't cut it.

My Tightwad GF actually had to get the real stuff.

For the Lack of headaches having to not deal with finding other compatability programs to work with Excell and Powerpoint including Open Office.

This deal Rocks.

If you really hate MS. Then do your freebies.

I for one took this deal.

yes, that one is for students and you have to have a college email

The one from NewEgg is HOME and Student; i don't see any age or school restrictions

from the product description:
Families rejoice, Microsoft?s Home and Student 2007 can be installed on up to 3 PCs for the same low price. That means everyone in the family gets their own legal copy of the 2007 versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. The applications are more powerful than ever before with enhanced text effects, improved bullet and numbering stability, SmartArt diagrams and bigger charting and graphics galleries.

Yeah, I was talking about the "Ultimate Steal" deal that Balt provided the link for. 😉

This is an excellent deal, BTW.

I would upgrade from Office 2000

to Office 2003, if it's still available.

It was a sad day when IT forced Office 2007 on me. 🙁 But great deal if you like it

I picked up Office 2007 Pro through 'The Ultimate Steal' - if you qualify, that's 60 bucks also, but for one license of Pro.

Edit: Now that I scroll down, I see that's a repost. MEH. 😛

Great Deal! I got in on this when is was $79 or $99 (I forget), and that was a good deal.
Sometimes I'm productive with the ribbons, but I still use Office 2003 at work most of the time, and keep forgetting where things are on the ribbons. There is a free utility to make Office 2007 more like Office 2003, though:

http://www.freewaregenius.com/...erface-in-office-2007/

free for non-commercial use. After installing, you just leave it on the menu ribbon, and it looks a lot like Ofice 2003.

I'm taking a course on Office '07 now...once you know how it works, it's very easy to use. I was all 😕 at first, though.
