Hello All I have purchased a MS Natural Erog. Keyboard 4000. The problem is that I cannot use it with my PS/2 KVM switch. At first I thought I would try a PS/2 to USB adapter like I did for my trackball, but it did not work. I come to find out that the only way to get the kb to work is to plug it directly into a USB port on the computer itself.

Tried also a usb keyboard/mouse input type micro kvm switch, but still no go

My question is does anybody else have this keyboard & if so have you been able to get it to work w/ a kvm. If you have which one was it ?

Thanks!!

Yes, it works with an IOGear micro 2port w/ audio. I forget the specific model. The keyboard does not support ps2 functionality. It probably works with alot of other models, too, but I don't own any other USB models.

I've gotten my MX1000 and Microsoft Natural Ergonomic keyboard 4000 to work flawlessly with an IOGear 4-port USB KVM without any problems at all. It's a bit pricey, but it works and does the job.

The Natural 4000 was made to not work with a PS/2 adapter. I highly also recommend the IOGear GCS634U.

I now have four of them. I have three at work and just purchased one more for my home last night.

Thanks everyone. I went & purchased the GCS632U model. If that doesn't work then I will decide if i want to spend the money the other model. I haven't had to use the 2nd system for a while & trying to decide if i want to keep or get rid of it.
