I got one of their original Explorer mice as a gift for Christmas a few years ago and I have had issues with it breaking and they have replaced it with a new mouse every time for free with no effort besides the phonecall on my part. The original intellimouse explorer has the lifetime warranty. You can go ahead adn submit and they should give you a new one. However, the replacement will be a later version with a limted warranty period.
