Microsoft Mathematics

This is great, thanks!

The ink input is pretty nifty too, although I would assume that feature it is more for tablets.

Looks good, but when setting in an equation to graph, I cant get the exponent (^) symbol to enter or key in (get a period instead). (Doesnt even work using the calculator's keyboard function for this.) No doubt it is cockpit error, but Im out of ideas already as this should be a simple type-in.

Exponentiation can be made to work, but the display of it is atrocious or needlessly non-sensical.

While I appreciate Microsoft's attempt in this matter, it looks to me that this calculator needs to go back to the shop for some serious HCI/HMI rework.

Hate to bump an old thread. But I just myself stumbled upon this software. Its really quite nice (though that huge ugly "calculator" is unneeded, though thankfully easy to get rid of).

My work has me do quite a bit of math problems, I've been using Wolfram Alpha for 95% of my work. But on certain things, like simple graphing, some matrix stuff, and equation solving, this looks to be easier and simpler.
The triangle solver is also quite nice for solving those incredibly annoying triangle problems
