This is a stupid problem I'm having, like a computer problem people's grandma's would have, but it's really annoying me so maybe someone can help.
Microsoft is sending me a lot of emails suddenly, about Xbox stuff mostly. Emails I do not want. I want to unsubscribe but they want you to log in to your account unsubscribe. I try my usual login, they say the password is wrong. Shit. Now I have to reset my windows live password. So I hit the reset link and it shoots me an email to reset my password. I choose a new one. So far so good. Now I try to login with the email address they are sending me everything, and my newly set password, and they tell me my password is wrong.
Repeat these steps about 5 times all trying a new password and I still can't log into my account. I've tried using different emails I have as well, but they keep telling me the password (which I had just set) is wrong. God dammit. I don't know what the hell the problem is.
So this started about a week or two ago and they are still sending me a bunch of emails but I can't unsubscribe from their spam unless I can get into my account which they won't let me into.
So I will try to block their advertising emails for now, but I think they come from a lot of different email addresses. I would like to get into my damn live/xbox account. Any ideas?
