I so want to go and get a free copy of Visual Studio 2005. I went to the one at UMD at College Park and got me a free copy of VS 2002 and WinXP. MS has won my loyalty with so many free giveaways during my college days (although technically I was working and going part time evening classes when I got VS 2002 -- but I got other free stuff during my grad days)!

When I attended in 2002 we got full versions, this appears to be the same situation. In 2002 they handed you a plastic bag when you walked in the door with the software, some pencils, a t-shirt, some mints, and some other MS literature. They had drawings for other prizes later in the show.

During Past events they gave out full unrestricted software. I'm assuming it's the same.
