I recently got a similar scare from IBM.... I worked there for a few months 4 years back... I recently got a letter from them that a laptop containing my personal information was lost.... This is my 5th residence in 4 years and I never updated my address with them... How in the world did they find out my current address 😕

Anyway, the actual weird thing is that they maintained two completely different specks of personal info for a long time and then it just appeared again when I went to the MS site from an address that is temporary and not mine. The answer is still not so obvious.
