Like trillian there will be a free version as well but the pay versino will have more features and such and such

Like Microsoft needs anymore money..

If AIM becomes a pay service.. I'll stick with Yahoo and ICQ.

Hey hey... indeed, BitWise is out there, and definitely free! If you're looking for a small, easy to use, fast chat client, look no farther! Course, I would know all about it, since I wrote it. ;)

I think the suggestion is that even though the free version remains... for now... how long until it's no longer free?
